 promotes and reinforces early literacy skills and language development thro
 ugh stories, music, movement and activities.<br /><br />Parents and caregiv
 ers participate with their children while learning helpful early literacy s
 trategies and tips to continue at home. <br /><br />We are partnering with 
 Healthy Start of SWFL/Help Me Grow to bring this special Books, Balls, and 
 Blocks program to the library. This program includes a free screening for f
 amilies with children birth to five years of age. Children can participate 
 in games and activities while parents complete the screening to ensure that
  their children are developmentally on-track. Parents will also be provided
  with resources for activities they can do at home with their children.
