Join Family Initiative for a special Speaker Series focused on Hurricane & Emergency Preparedness on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 1:30–3:00 PM. Local experts, including meteorologist Andrew Shipotofsky, Chief John Schultz, and emergency management specialist Ruth Rodrigues, will share valuable information on hurricane forecasts, evacuation planning, emergency resources, and inclusive preparedness strategies for autistic individuals and their families. Families can attend in person or watch live on Facebook, with prizes, giveaways, and onsite childcare provided.
