Sea Turtle Art Contest at Centennial Park Recreation Center

Charlotte County Parks & Natural Resources are accepting artwork beginning July 1 for “Lights Out for Sea Turtles” a campaign designed to raise awareness around sea turtle education and conservation. The chosen artwork will be featured on educational materials for the 2026 sea turtle nesting season. All submissions must be received by Aug. 15.
Contest Age Range: Children (5-15), Adults (16+)
Submissions can be dropped off at or mailed to Centennial Park Recreation Center. Only paper submissions will be accepted. Artwork will be scanned and resized for final use, so precise dimensions are not required. Be sure to include your name, age, address, email and phone number in your submission.
