Join us for a delicious homeschool day inspired by the Collier Museum at Government Center’s special exhibit, From Piccadilly Pub to The Pewter Mug: A Local’s Dining Experience! We’ll be exploring different traditional cooking techniques and foods that people in Collier County have been eating for thousands of years. The Calusa lived on the natural resources of our region’s bays and estuaries, while the early pioneers applied traditional cooking and food preservation methods to the foods of their new found home. All areas that will be represented in this culinary journey to the past.
