Everglades City will be hosting their annual family fun festival to celebrate the 4th of July on Saturday, June 29th!
Always held on the Saturday before 4th of July, the opening ceremony opens up the day at 10am, followed by the parade, contests, food, and activities till the afternoon.
Here is the schedule of events:
-10am, Opening Ceremony, Parade, "Flying the Flag", prizes for the best entries
-11am, Booths open, food, contests, games, contests, prizes, hot dogs, cold drinks, raffles and "Little Miss and Mister FireCracker" (Kiddies' Best-Dressed Contest).
-11:30 am, Parade Winners Announced, Kiddies' Contests
-12:30 pm, Raffle Winners Announced
-9pm, FIREWORKS
