Charlotte County Community Services is hosting the MLB Pitch, Hit & Run.
Pitch, Hit and Run is an event where children ages 7 to 14 compete in three separate categories including pitching at a target, hitting off a tee and a timed run from home plate to first base.
The participants are separated by age group and based on scores, the winners can advance from the local competition to a team championship and then to the finals which is held in conjunction with Game 2 of the World Series. Participants in the finals receive an all-expenses paid trip to the city which hosts Game 2 of the World Series.
This is a free event. Registration is required.
