Charlotte County Libraries and History in partnership with the Blanchard House Museum of African American History and Culture presents a five-part series on the history and culture of African kingdoms and empires that ruled over many parts of the continent. Designed for children ages 7+ and their families, this series will provide an interactive historical experience through themed storytimes and the creation of symbolic crafts. Registration is required.

March: Songhai

April: Kush

May: Zimbabwe (there will be food, so please let us know what you are allergic to if necessary)
