Field Closures:

Please be aware that park staff may close athletic fields in addition to scheduled closures if they determine the fields are too wet for safe play or if other issues arise that could compromise patron safety. This decision may be influenced by inclement weather and/or current field turf conditions. An athletic field should be considered closed for play if any part of the field becomes unsafe for field users or if conditions exist where use will cause damage to the field. Staff will determine field playablity on a daily basis using the below criteria:

Lightning Alert Systems:

The park is equipped with a lightning alert system. When lightning is detected within a 10-mile radius, the alert system will activate a strobe light and an audible horn will emit a loud 15-second alarm. It is highly recommended that park patrons stop play and find shelter while the park is under an active alert. Once the storm has passed, the strobe light will turn off and an all-clear horn will sound in three short bursts. When the park is under an active alert, alert information and a countdown until all-clear can be found on the bottom of this page. 

Lighted Play:

The tennis, pickleball, basketball, and volleyball courts are equipped with lighting for evening play. The lights are operated by a timer and can be activated using a button located at the base of the nearest light pole.  Lighted play on the multipurpose/soccer/baseball fields is by permit only.

Pavilion Rentals:

We offer several pavilions throughout the park on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not have any rentable pavilions. Each pavilion typically includes two to four picnic tables and a grill. Feel free to bring additional tables and chairs if needed. If you are looking to host a large event (over 60 people) in the park, or have any other questions, please contact the supervisor listed above.

For tennis information and programs at Three Oaks Community Park contact Sibo Kangwa with the Lee County Tennis Association (LCCTA) at (239) 822-0635 or tennisdirectorthreeoaks@gmail.com. Some tennis courts may be reserved by LCCTA for programs, instruction or special events. Pickleball is not permitted on any tennis court.
