Early Learning Coalition of Florida's Heartland, Inc - Charlotte County

The Coalition's purpose is to administer the state childcare scholarship (School Readiness) and voluntary pre-kindergarten (VPK) programs with funding for Charlotte, DeSoto, Hardee and Highlands Counties. The Coalition provides child care resource and referral services, aiding parents in locating child care within their communities. Child care support services are available to help early care providers improve the quality of child care programs to prepare children to be ready for school. The School Readiness and Voluntary Pre-kindergarten (VPK) programs are administered by the Office of Early Learning and in accordance with Florida Statutes.
