Englewood Sailing Association Summer Sailing Camp

Our summer camps run Monday through Friday 9 AM to 3 PM at Indian Mound Park, Englewood, FL. We hold two in June and one in July. Over the course of five days, our all-volunteer staff of adult instructors teach kids the basics of sailing, with a focus first on safety then on having fun in the water. Each boat has an experienced youth coach on board to help new sailors learn the ropes, increasing their confidence and making the experience fun. By the end of the week most students are sailing by themselves. On Friday afternoon we have a family picnic after graduation, and new sailors can take their family members out on a boat and show off their skills.

The only qualifications are age (9 to 17 years old) and being comfortable in the water and able to swim.
