Students will take part in a full musical theatre experience, developing skills in acting, singing, and dancing while preparing for live stage performances of a Treasure Island for Kids. Throughout the rehearsal process, students will build confidence and technique as they work on character development, vocal performance, choreography, and stage presence under the guidance of experienced theatre instructors. Each session includes a combination of scene work, vocal rehearsals, and musical theatre dance instruction(stretching, jazz, and tap). Students learn teamwork, discipline, and creative expression as they bring this heartwarming story of sisterhood and courage to life on stage. This course culminates in fully staged public performances at Fort Myers Theatre, giving students the opportunity to showcase their growth and talent in a professional theatre environment.
