
Military Heritage Museum’s History Camp is offering one-week sessions of fun with an educational purpose! Daily interactive activities using the latest technologies to include Flight Simulators, Historical Reenactments, Scavenger Hunts, Virtual Reality, Arts and Crafts, Creative Multimedia Projects, and much more! Activity areas rotation in groups of 10 campers or less. Interaction with Veterans and Guest Speakers is always a highlight of camp, as well as going on a full-day field trip. The objective of History Camp is to teach U.S. history and civics through a unique interactive experience, inspiring campers to discover, engage and connect with history.
Specially designed for students entering grades 4-9, the History Camp Curriculum was created and will be led by certified educators. Lesson plans and camper activities were carefully selected to ensure they align with Florida Education Standards
Full-day camp sessions will be held 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Sign-in begins at 8:00am and sign-out/pick-up no later than 4:00pm.
